Feel free to contact us if you need any help!

Do you offer discounts (holiday deals, etc.)?

We don't discount our products and have no intention of doing so in the future. We feel this course is a fantastic value priced as-is for the skills it is offering. We're actually more likely to raise the price in the future.

What is your refund policy?

Simple. There's an unconditional 30-day guarantee that you're going to love this course and learn a tremendous amount. Try it out for 30 days and make sure you love it. If it's not the right fit, simply let us know and we'll promptly refund your money.

Do the videos have captions?

Yes! Every video has English captions!

What if I don't own Adobe Premier?

Ideally, if you're ready to get serious about creating food videos, it's time to consider Adobe Premier, which is sold as an individual subscription or part of the Adobe Creative suite.

However, there are many videos that don't involve this editing software (understanding your camera, shooting the recipe, etc.). You're still getting lots of lessons about creating amazing food videos.

Lastly, many of the editing techniques will be available on most types of professional-level software. If you're using another program to edit your videos, the skills taught in this course will still be applicable. You'll just need to learn how to access the same tools in your software.

What is a Lumetri Preset?

LUTs and Lumetri Presets are both ways to affect the color and qualities of your footage, similar to filters that you'd use on Instagram. We created these specially for you to jumpstart your editing and spark ideas. Don't worry, we will walk you through the install process so you can start using them right away!

Do I need a DSLR or video camera to take this course?

No! This course was designed to allow you to use what you have and start learning about food videos. Although we think you'll get more out of the course if you do have a DSLR or video camera, it's by no means necessary.

Not only that, once you're a member, you're always a member. Take the course today and learn some of the tips with your current camera and then go back through it and review the material if you upgrade.

In fact, there are a couple lessons discussing the differences of camera types. It could be really helpful to have some background knowledge before you make such a big investment and we're ready to help!

Do I need a Canon camera to take this course or will another camera work?

Any camera will work! In fact we have a a few resources for Nikon, Sony, and Panasonic users to bring you up to seed and help you find the appropriate settings within the tutorials. Of course, many of the videos have little to do with the camera settings (styling, lighting, props, editing, etc.) and will be valuable regardless of the camera you're using.

I want to learn how to use artificial light - how much of that is covered in food video school?

There is a substantial amount of information about artificial light covered in Food Video School. However, the focus here is on video and not photography (the two can be quite different in terms of approach and equipment). If you're a total newbie to artificial light and hope to use it in photography and videography, we'd still recommend taking the Artificial Lighting Course first to gain the foundational principals you'll need to understand how light works. And then follow up with Food Video School.

I'm very new to professional photography and videography, can I only take the photo or video course?

We would recommend starting with the photography essentials if you're a newbie to photography - this is where you'll learn your foundation. And if you're wanting to venture into videography, pick up this video course after that!

What's the difference between Food Video School and Food Photography School?

The short answer is LOTS!

Food Video School is definitely entirely different from Food Photography School. The Food Video School course focuses entirely on making recipe videos, which ends up being further from photography than you'd imagine (using constant light, editing in video editing software with motion, storyboarding a scene, etc.). The videos within each course are different and uniquely focusing on the art of either photography or videography.

Can I use my phone for this course?

Yes! You'll naturally be limited by some of the technical aspects, but your videography will still benefit from learning how to frame a shot, style, use props, and how to edit the perfect recipe video. In fact, we demonstrate how to use an iPhone to film and edit your recipes, including the use of apps that allow you to adjust frame rate, aperture, ISO, and make professional edits, etc. Finally, we show you how to get this footage in Adobe Premier and start editing your food videos!

Plus, your course access doesn't expire. So if you do end up getting another camera or device in the future, you can always come back and access the course you purchase today!

How long are the videos?

We tried to edit each course to make sure each video was valuable and teaching you something. We didn't want to create fluff just to say we had more hours of videos.

That said, there's still just about 10 hours of video!

Can I use my iPad/tablet to take this course?

Yes! The entire course is designed to look and work seamlessly regardless of the device you are using. We worked hard to make sure you can utilize this course in the way most convenient for you.

Can I download the videos?

Sorry, our system doesn't have a way to handle downloading the videos to your computer. However, you can always login and access your account as frequently as you'd like.

Can you accept paypal?

Yes! Although all our payment options are very secure, paypal will allow you to pay with a check or through your paypal funds if you so desire.

I live in another country, can I take these courses?

Yes! These courses are accessible for anyone in any country. The course prices are in USD and our payment processors can take payments from most any country.

How fast do I get access?

It's pretty much ninja-like instant access. You'll be in as soon as your payment is processed (takes about 1 second).

What do you mean by lifetime access?

Simple - your purchase today includes access to all the videos we have available at the time of your purchase. You'll be able to reference the course as much as you need!

If we do release new courses in the future, we typically offer discounts to existing subscribers.

Is this a one-time fee or recurring charge?

One-time fee! There is no recurring charge for this course.

Do these courses come with a certificate of completion?

Yes, they do! You'll have both a screen showing the percentage of the course that has been completed as well as a printable certificate.
